Sometimes I really amuse myself. Let me tell you how this happened today...
So I was getting my Halloween decorations out so my daughters and I could decorate. I'm carefully unwrapping the decorations and setting them on the table so we could decide where to put which decorations. (Of course the girls found the fake spider webs and were already draping them all over the front door by this point...)
I kid you not when I say that usually within the first half hour of being awake, either my husband or I will ask the other if we have to go to Costco that day. Not because we are excited about the $1.50 hot dog combo, or the free samples - it's because we loathe shopping at Costco on Saturdays. Loathe could actually be an understatement.
I love playing the drums and being a percussionist. I have played since 6th grade (officially), although my house had a myriad of things to tap on before that point. (Don't ask my mom about this...it drove her crazy)
Have you ever have that moment where you catch the perfect picture? The band that played at our reception called and asked if they could get copies of the professional pictures we had taken, so I was going through all of our reception pictures and ran across this one. It is truly a charished picture.
Football season is approaching, which for my household, means this is when my husband yells at inanimate objects, I get caught up on work while pretending to watch the TV, and there is usually a fantastic 7 layer dip involved. (Chris' favorite).
Fall is my favorite time of year. We have had a few days lately where I could have happily gotten out all of my fall clothes, but it's not quite time yet.... I love layers... cardigans, sweaters, cute boots, boot socks, arm warmers, scarves, hats, etc. I pulled out a few of my scarves to share my excitement with you!
